MPEG-2 Codec

General
Bit Rate (in kbps). Specifies the bit rate in kbps.
GOP Structure. Specifies the GOP Structure as a combination of I frames, B frames, and
P frames. I frame-only structures have a lower visual quality but are well suited for
editing. Longer GOP structures have higher visual quality and are best suited for
playout.
GOP Configuration. Specifies the type of GOP structure.
Start with I Frame. When checked, specifies that the GOP start with an I-frame (display
and coded order).
Motion Estimation Factor. Specifies how much motion estimation to use when
encoding the video stream. A higher value results in higher quality and increases
encoding time.
Profile. Specifies the profile to use for encoding.
Level. Specifies the level to use for encoding.
Chroma. Select the Chroma Subsampling to use.
Video Buffer Verifier
Video Buffer Verifier. Specifies whether or not to use the default settings or custom
VBV settings. When Specify VBV Settings is set, configure these controls:
VBV Buffer Size. Specifies the size of the VBV buffer in kbps. Larger values allow the
encoder greater flexibility during encoding.
VBV Delay. Specifies how much time is allowed between the transmission of the first
frame and its actual decode. Larger values allow the codec greater flexibility during
encoding.

x264 Codec

Profile. Specifies the profile to use for encoding.
Bit Rate (in kbps). Specifies the bit rate in kbps.
Command Line. Enables you to optionally configure the codec using x264 command
line syntax. For setting specific x264 parameters, you can enter x264 CLI commands
(separated by spaces) to execute them. For best results, be sure to use long form.

Time Code Burn-in Filter

Check to implement the Time Code Burn-in Filter, which imprints the media timecode
into each output video frame.
