Triggers Determine the Method of Channel Control

Schedule Trigger

The Schedule trigger enables you to record based on events in a CalDav compatible
calendar, such as Google. Channels set to Schedule trigger are presented in a read-only
status view in the Live Capture web app. For configuration instructions see

Web Service Trigger

Select Web Service to trigger live video capture using commands from the Lightspeed
Live Capture Web API. You can queue up a maximum of 16 Web Service Trigger jobs per
Live Capture host server at any one time. Channels set to Web Service trigger with
Allow Manual Control disabled are presented in a read-only status view in the Live
Capture web app. If Allow Manual Control is enabled, manual controls and web service
datawill be present on the channel's thumbnail card, allowing for full manual control
