Video Buffer Verifier
Choose to specify Video Buffer Verifier buffer size and delay settings, or to use default
settings.
- Do not specify VBV settings
- Specify VBV settings: VBV Buffer Size (512-300,000); VBV Delay (50-750).
When Specify VBV Settings is selected, VBV Buffer Size specifies the size of the VBV
buffer in kbps. Larger values allow the encoder greater flexibility during encoding.
When Specify VBV Settings is selected, VBV Delay specifies how much time is allowed
between the transmission of the first frame and its actual decode. Larger values allow
the encoder greater flexibility during encoding.
