MXF OP1a Output
Output Settings
MXF OP-1a Config Name. Specifies the custom name of this output configuration.
Displayed as a Configuration Template (along with all other outputs in this action) in
the Capture Web app, so that the operator can select a specific Output configuration
for the current capture session.
Container Settings
General
File Extension. Specifies the extension of the output file.
436 Data Track. Specifies how to add SMPTE 436 data (None | Ancillary | VBI) to the
output.
Partition Strategy. Specifies how to apply the MXF partitioning (or None).
Broadcast Wave Audio. When checked, sets the audio tracks to Broadcast Wave
format, adding metadata such as timestamps to the audio stream.
Mpeg Picture Element. When checked, specifies that MPEG picture elements should
be used for Avid and Adobe Premiere Pro compatibility.
Telestream Index. When checked, a proprietary, sidecar Telestream Index file is created
for use in specific customer workflows. For details, please contact Customer Service.
Aspect Ratio Mode
Aspect Ratio Mode. Specifies how to set the display or pixel aspect ratio of the output:
When Automatic is selected, the aspect ratio is set automatically, based on the
detected content.
Display Aspect Ratio. When Display Aspect Ratio is selected, specifies 4:3 | 16:9.
Pixel Aspect Ratio. When checked, specifies the selected pixel aspect ratio.
Video Stream Details
Select the Video Stream component to display its settings on the right.
Codec
Codec. Specifies the codec used to encode the output video stream.
AVC
Profile. Specifies the profile to use for encoding.
Bit Rate. Specifies the bit rate, in kbps.
