QuickTime Output
The QuickTime container conforms to the IEC 14496-14 MP4 File Format standard and
the QuickTime File Format Specification.
Note: Controls with a green Browse button may be bound to a variable to
dynamically assign their setting or value. The variable must have a value when this
action executes. You can assign the value to the variable in a previous action in the
workflow or use the variable's default value. Click Browse to select the variable or
create a new one.

Container Settings
The QuickTime Container wraps the specified media into a QuickTime file format.
General Panel
File Extension. QuickTime (MOV) selected by default. No other selections are available.
Timecode Track. None, Hidden, or Visible.
Caption Track. (Closed caption track) None, C608, or C708.
Fast Start. Enable Fast Start to improve web based playback when downloading the
file.
Header Compression. Compresses QuickTime header information to improve
playback responsiveness when downloading the file.
Color Space. Set the QuickTime file color space. Options include:
- Do not specify
- XYZ with SMPTE 428-1 (DCDM) Transfer Characteristics
- ITU-R Recommendation BT.601 with SMPTE-C Color Primaries (NTSC)
- ITU-R Recommendation BT.601 with SMPTE-C Color Primaries (PAL)
- ITU-R Recommendation BT.2020
