Connecting a PC
You need a PC to administer the DEFINITY LAN Gateway system. You must have
a local administration PC and a local maintenance PC as well.
There are four ways to connect a local administration terminal:
Direct connection
Modem connection
Asynchronous Data Unit (ADU)
One 7400A data module and one 7400B data module (recommended) or
two 7400A data modules
Local maintenance PCs are always connected directly.
