11.3 Faults

11.3.1 Device
Fault
Device cannot be switched on
Device cannot be switched off
Yellow-highlighted error message
Function check does not start
Brightness of the display too low
Alarm output too quiet
Power failure/black screen
If you are not able to clear an error message with the aid of the
table, you should contact the manufacturer
WEINMANN Emergency or your authorized dealer to have the
device repaired. To avoid more serious damage, do not continue
using the device.
Cause
Battery not correctly inserted in
device, or battery empty.
Battery empty and device not
connected to the line power.
Device defective.
Operating error.
Temporary device malfunction
Device defective.
Battery weak or empty.
Function test resistor not detected.
Pulse oximetry sensor not
detected.
Brightness of the display set too
low.
Night colors activated.
Volume set to 25 %.
Battery empty and device not
connected to the line power.
11 Alarms and faults
Remedy
Check battery.
Check power supply.
Have the device repaired.
Press and hold the On/Off button
for at least 2 seconds.
Switch device off
and back on again
Perform a function check

Have the device repaired.
Insert battery with a charge level
of at least 2 LEDs and restart the
function check.
Connect the function test resistor
and trunk cable correctly.
Connect pulse oximetry sensor
connecting cable and pulse
oximetry sensor correctly.
Increase brightness of the display.
Deactivate night colors.
Increase the volume in the
application menu or the volume
preset in the operator menu
