Cause
Measured diastolic blood pressure
is below the set lower alarm limit.
Settings had to be reset to factory
settings.
ECG electrodes not attached or not
correctly attached to the patient or
the ECG cable is not correctly
connected to the ECG electrodes.
Internal ECG module defective.
ECG connector of the ECG cable
not connected or incorrectly
connected to the device.
Measured heart rate is above the
set upper alarm limit.
Measured heart rate is above
250/min (device shows --- as heart
rate).
Measured heart rate is below the
set lower alarm limit.
Measured heart rate is below
30/min (device shows --- as heart
rate).
Blood pressure cannot be
measured and displayed as it is
outside the device's measuring
range.
The NIBP module is unable to
detect a pulse wave signal.

Remedy
If medically indicated, perform
suitable treatment or adapt the
alarm limits
(see 7.3.1, p.
Re-enter presets in the operator
menu. If this recurs: Have the
device repaired.
Attach ECG electrodes to the
patient correctly and connect the
ECG cable correctly to the ECG
electrodes
