• When cross-check is configured, and a session with an expected MEP times out, EFD is triggered on
• No CCMs are received from a peer MEP appearing in the configured cross-check list.
• An RDI is being received from a peer MEP.
• The MEP is receiving an AIS/LCK.
The MEP will bring the interface back up when the error condition is no longer detected.
When an interface is shut down by a MEP using EFD, the MEP will continue to send and receive CCMs
