The following example shows how to configure that no action is performed on the interface when an Ethernet
OAM session goes down.
RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:router# configure
RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:router(config)# ethernet oam profile Profile_1
RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:router(config-eoam)# action session-down disable
The following example shows how to configure putting the interface into the line-protocol-down state when
an Ethernet OAM session goes down.
RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:router# configure
RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:router(config)# ethernet oam profile Profile_1
RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:router(config-eoam)# action session-down efd
The following example shows how to configure that the interface is put into the error-disable state when an
Ethernet OAM session goes down.
RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:router# configure
RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:router(config)# ethernet oam profile Profile_1
RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:router(config-eoam)# action session-down error-disable-interface
The following example shows how to configure that a syslog entry is created when an Ethernet OAM session
goes down. This configuration overrides the interface Ethernet OAM profile.
RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:router# configure
RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:router(config)# interface gigabitethernet 0/1/0/0
RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:router(config-if)# ethernet oam
