CAUTION
• When an inductive load
(solenoid, relay, etc.) is used,
always connect a diode in
parallel as a surge killer.
• Never short the DO output to DC
24V (NPN specifications) since
this will damage the internal
circuitry.
• Never short the DO output to
GND (PNP specifications) since
this will damage the internal
circuitry.
• See "7. I/O connections" in
Chapter 3 for a definition of
NPN and PNP specifications.
