!1 Push D-pad(
) to select "CALL SIGN," and then
push D-pad(Ent).
!2 Rotate [DIAL] to select the first character.
(For example: J)
• A to Z, 0 to 9, / and a space can be selected.
• A space can be entered in any input mode selected.
• Push [CLR]
to erase the selected character, or hold
down [CLR]
to continuously erase the characters af-
ter the cursor.
!3 Push D-pad() to move the cursor to the second
digit.
!4 Repeat steps !2 and !3 to enter a call sign of up to 8
characters, including spaces.
(For example: First, J, then M, then 1, then Z, then
L, then K.)
!5 After entering, push D-pad(Ent).
!6 Push D-pad(
) to select "<<Add Write>>," and then
push D-pad(Ent).
!7 Push D-pad(
) to select "YES," and then push D-
pad(Ent).
!8 Push [MENU]
to exit the MENU screen.
