SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM
PREPARATI O N:
Turn the ignition switch to LOCK.
(a)
(b) Disconnect negative (-) terminal cable from the battery,
and wait at least for 90 seconds.
(c) Disconnect the side airbag sensor (LH) from the connec­
tor and connect the side airbag sensor (RH) to the con­
nector.
Connect negative (-) terminal cable to the battery, and
(d)
CHECK:
wait at least for 2 seconds.
Turn the ignition switch to
(a)
conds.
(b) Clear the DTC stored in memory
(See step 5 on page Dl-326}.
Turn the ignition switch to LOCK, and wait at least for 20
(c)
seconds.
Turn the ignition switch to
(d)
conds.
OK:
Check lhe DTC (See page 01-326).
(e)
DTC i s not output.
