DIAGNOSTICS
PREPARATI O N:
(a) Turn the ignition swi t ch to LOCK.
(b) Disconnect negative (-) terminal cable from the battery,

(c) Connect the steering wheel pad connector.
Sensor
Assembly
(d ) Connect negative (-) terminal cable to the battery, and
CHECK:
(a) Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait at least for 20 se-
(b) Clear the DTC stored in memory {See page
(c) Turn the ignition swi t ch to LOCK, and wai t at least for 20

(d) Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wai t at l e ast for 20 se-
