DIAGNOSTICS

PREPARATI O N:
(a) Turn the ignition switch to LOCK.
(b) Di s connect negati v e (-) terminal cable from the battery,
and wai t at least for
(c) Connect the side airbag assembly (LH) connector.
( d )
Connect negati v e (-) terminal cable to the battery, and
wai t at least for 2 seconds.
CHECK:
(a) Turn the ignition swi t ch to ON, and wai t at least for 20 se­
conds.
(b) Clear the DTC stored i n memory
(See step
( c )
Turn the ignition switch to LOCK, and wai t at least for 20
80118/46
seconds.
( d )
Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait at least for 20 se­
conds.
(e) Check the
OK: DTC 8011 S/ 46 I s not output.
HI N T:
Codes other than code 80118/46 may be output at this time, but
they are not relevant to this check.
