PREPARATI O N:
(a) Remove the ECM cover.
( b )
Connect the TOYOTA hand-held tester to the DLC3.
Select the ACTIVE TEST mode on the TOYOTA hand-

held tester.

Start the engine.
The VSV lor the CCV is ON by the TOYOTA hand-held

( f) The VSV for the EVAP is OFF, and the VSV for the pres­
sure switching valve is ON by the TOYOTA hand-held
CHECK:

Measure the voltage between terminals PTNK and E2 of the
