SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM
PREPARATION :
(a) Turn the ignition swi t ch to LOCK.
(b) Disconnect negative (-) terminal cable from the battery,
and walt at least for 90 seconds.
(c) Connect the front passenger ai r bag assembly connector.
(d) Connect negati v e (-) terminal cabl e to the battery, and
at
wai t least for 2 seconds.
CHECK:
(a) Turn the ignition swi t ch to LOOK, and wai t at least for 20
seconds.
(b) Turn the i g nition switch to ON, and wait at l e ast for 20 se­
conds.
(c) Clear lhe DTC slored i n memory (See page Dl - 326).
(d ) Turn the ignition swi t ch to LOCK, and wai t at least for 20
seconds .
(e) Turn the ignition swi t ch to ON, and wait at l e ast for 20 se­
conds.
Check the DTC (See page Dl-326).
