SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM
PREPARATI O N:
(a) Turn the ignition swi t ch to LOCK.
(b) Disconnect negative {-) terminal cabl e from the battery,
and wait at l e ast for 90 seconds.
(c) Connect the side ai r bag assembly (LH) connector.
(d) Connect negali v e (-) terminal cable to lhe battery. and
wait at least for 2 seconds.
CHECK:
(a) Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wai t at least for 20 se­
conds.
(b) Clear the DTC stored in memory (See page Dl-326).
(c) Turn the ignition switch to LOCK, and wait at l e ast for 20
seconds.
(d) Turn the ignition swi t ch to ON, and wait at l e ast for 20 se­
conds.
(e) Check the DTC (See page Dl-326).
