SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM
PREPARATI O N:
(a) Connect the connector to the airbag sensor assembly.
(b) Connect negative (-) terminal cabl e to the battery, and
wai t at least tor 2 seconds.
CHECK:
(a) Turn the ignition swi t ch to ON and wai t at l e ast for 20 se-
conds.
Cl e ar the DTC stored in memory (See page 01-326).
(b)
Turn the ignition switch to LOCK, and wait at l e ast for 20
(c)
seconds.
(d) Turn the ignition swi t ch to ON, and wait at l e ast for 20 se­
conds.
(e ) Check the DTC (See page Dl-326).
OK: DTC 80130/ 6 3 I s not out p ut .
HINT:
Codes other than code 80130/63 may be output at this time, but
they are not relevant to this check.
