of using TOYOTA hand-hold tester:
In
PREPARATION:
Connect the TOYOTA hand-held tester to the DLC3.
(a)
Tum the ignition switch ON and push the TOYOTA hand-held tester main switch ON.
(b) Select the DATALIST mode on the TOYOTA hand-held tester.
(c)
CHECK:
Check the voltage condition output from the ECU displayed on the TOYOTA hand-held tester.
OK:
"Normal"" Is dlsplayad.
Check continuity between terminals GND (A11 - 12, 25) of ABS ECU connector

and body ground.

In case of not using TOYOTA han�held tester:
PREPARATION:
Remove ASS ECU with connectors still connected.
CHECK:
(a) Tum the ignition switch ON.
(b) Measure voltage between terminals A11 - 13 and A11 -
12, 25 of ABS ECU connector.
OK:

Chock and replace ABS
PREPARATION:
Disconnect the connector from the ABS ECU.
CHECK:
Measure resistance between terminal A 11 - 12, 25 of ABS ECU
harness side connector and body ground.

OK:
Resistance: 1 n. or less
Repair or replace harness or connector.
