From the results of the above Inspection, the malfunctioning part can now be considered normal.
To make sure of this, use the simulation method to check.
DIAGNOSnCS SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM
PREPARATION:
(a} Turn the ignition switch to LOCK.
(b ) Di s connect negati v e (-) terminal cable from the battery,
and wai t at l e ast for
(c) Connect the side ai r bag assembl y
(d) Connect negative (-) terminal cabl e to the battery, and
wait at l e ast for
CHECK:
(a) Turn the ignition switch to LOOK, and wai t at l e ast tor
second .
(b) Turn the ignition swi t ch to ON, and wai t at least for
conds.
(c) Clear the DTC stored in memory (See page
(d) Turn the ignition swi t ch to LOCK, and wai t at l e ast for
