SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM
DIAGNOSTICS
PREPARATI O N:
(a) Turn the ignition swi t ch to LOCK.
(b) Di s connect negative (-) terminal cable from the battery,
and wai t at l e ast for
{c) Connect the seat bel t pretensi o ner (RH) connector .
(d) Connect negative
wai t at least for 2 seconds.
CHECK:
(a) Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait at least for 20 se­
c o nds.
(b) Clear the DTC stored i n memory (See page Dl-326).
(c) Turn the i g nition swi t ch to LOCK, and wail at l e ast for 20
seconds.
(d) Turn the ignition swi t ch to ON, and wai t at l e ast for 20 se­
conds.
(e) Check the DTC (See page Dl-326).
OK: DTC B0131/641 s not output.

Codes other than code 80131/64 may be output at this time, but
they are not rel e vant to this check.
