SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM
PREPARATI O N:
( a )
Connect the connector to the airbag sensor assembl y .

service wire, connect
(b) Using
(on the front passenger ai r bag assembl y si d e) between
the front passenger ai r bag assembl y and the ai r bag sen­
sor assembl y .
(c) Connect negati v e (-) terminal cable to the battery, and
wait at least for 2 seconds.
CHECK:
{a) Turn the ignition swi t ch to ON and wai t at least for 20 se-
conds.
Clear the DTC stored in memory (See page Dl - 326).
(b)
Turn the ignition swi t ch to LOCK, and wai t at l e ast for 20
(c)
seconds.
(d) Turn the ignition swi t ch to ON, and wait at least for 20 se­
conds.
Check the DTC (See page Dl - 326).
(e)
OK:
DTC i s not outpul.
