<Frame Type Set>
Functions • To set the frame type for NetWare settings of NIC.
Use • To specify the frame type used for communications.
• The default setting is "Auto Detect".

<IP Filtering>
Functions • To set IP filtering
Use • To set whether or not to accept it within the numeric area that specifies IP address.
<Accept Setting>
1. Select [Enable] or [Disable] at [Accept Setting]
2. Select 1 to 3 and enter the address with 10-key pad.
3. Press [Enter] to complete the setting.

<Deny Access>
1. Select [Enable] or [Disable] at [Deny Access].
2. Select 1 to 3 and enter the address with 10-key pad.
3. Press [Enter] to complete the setting.

<IP Relay Settings>
• To specify a relay machine from multiple machines (of this model) connected to the
LAN and send a fax through a telephone line.
Functions
* Set [Gateway TX] to [Restrict] in [Scanner Settings] selecting [Admin. Management] -
[Admin. 2] - [Network Settings] - [Network Setting 1].
• When sending a fax through intranet.
Use
• When setting a IP relay machine.
<IP Relay Station Registration>
1. Touch the [IP Relay Settings].
2. Touch the [IP Relay Station Registration].
3. Select a number where a relay station is to be registered.
4. Press [IP Relay Address] and enter the IP address of the relay machine.
If a host name needs to be entered, press [Host Name] and enter the name.
5. Press [Port] and enter a new number when the port number needs to be changed.
6. Touch the [Enter].
Setting/
7. Press [Domain Name] and enter the domain name of the IP relay station.
Procedure
8. Touch the [Enter].
<Secure Print Waiting>
1. Touch the [Secure Print Waiting].
2. Select the number of the relay station to be used, and press [Enter].
<Result reception port>
1. Touch the [Relay Result Port].
2. Enter a port number where relay results are received, and press [Enter].
