3.2.7.8 PICK UP ROLL Removal (PL4.2.11)

1. Remove the MSI TRAY ASSEMBLY. (See Section 3.2.7.1.)
2. Remove the MSI ASSEMBLY. (See Section 3.2.7.2.)
NOTE: In the following step, be careful not to break the hooks for
the FRONT CORE ROLL.
3. Release 2 hooks securing the front and rear FRONT CORE ROLLs
in the MSI ROLL ASSEMBLY from the groove on the PICK UP
SHAFT, and move each FRONT CORE ROLL away from the PICK
UP ROLL 20mm or more.
4. Slide each PICK UP ROLL toward the corresponding FRONT
CORE ROLL, and lift them up to remove.
When installing the PICK UP ROLL, set it in the
following condition:


Set the roll surface facing to the opposite side of
the cam of the PICK UP CAM.


The arrow marked on the side of the PICK UP ROLL
is indicating the rotating direction.
While turning the FRONT CORE ROLL back to the
position, hold the RETARD PAD ASSEMBLY down.
