Check: MSI LONG N/P SENSOR

Is the MSI LONG N/P SENSOR properly

functioning? (Check it by using the diagnostic tool.)

Check: CRUM CONNECTOR ASSY electrical
continuity

Does the CRUM CONNECTOR ASSY have proper
continuity at the point below?
- J23<=>P22
Check: DRUM CARTRIDGE

Replace the DRUM CARTRIDGE with a specified one.

Does the problem still occur?
Chapter 5 Troubleshooting
Yes
• With the diagnostic tool, go to step 7.
• Without the diagnostic tool, go to FIP-
2.8 "MSI LONG N/P SENSOR is
Defective".
Replace the MCU PWB.
Yes
Replace/reinstall the defective part(s).
Go to Step 3.
Replace the MCU PWB.
Remedy
No
Replace the defective part.
Go to FIP-2.8 "MSI LONG N/P SENSOR
is Defective".
Remedy
No
Go to Step 2.
Replace the CRUM CONNECTOR
ASSY.
Problem solved.
