Oscillographic recording is immediately started. During the recording, an annunciation is output in the left
area of the status line. Bar segments additionally indicate the progress of the procedure.
The SIGRA or the Comtrade Viewer program is required to view and analyze the oscillographic data.

Password Security

For 7SC80, you can define passwords with higher security standards. Use up to 10 characters with a mixture
of capital and small letters as well as digits and special characters.
The password can be entered directly on the 7SC80 device, via the Web Monitor, or with DIGSI using the
computer keyboard.
Via the NUM LOCK key of the operator panel, you (de)activate the extended character input and the LED of
the key is switched on/off. The table below gives an overview of the characters.
If you press the 0 key once, for example, "0" is selected; if you press the 0 key twice in quick succession, "+" is
selected and so on. All available characters are provided on the display. You can also select the characters
using the scroll keys. With the SCROLL DOWN key, you undo the last step.

The selection is confirmed with the "." key by immediately starting the next character selection with a
different numerical key or automatically after the input time of approx. 2 s has expired. The confirmed char-
acter is then represented by a "*" symbol on the display and the selection of the next character starts.
