If the sectionalizer function detects that a fault current comes, a time 9526 T. to con. Trip is started. If
all of the phases and neutral currents turn to be less than 0212 BkrClosed I MIN during the time 9526 T.
to con. Trip, the sectionalizer picks up. When the sectionalizer picks up, the sectionalizer counter number
will increase. The time 9528 Time to reset is started at the same time. The time 9528 Time to reset
will be reset when another increment comes. The time 9526 T. to con. Trip will be reset, when another
fault current comes.
If the time 9528 Time to reset is exceeded, the sectionalizer counter number will be set to 0. When the
time 9526 T. to con. Trip is exceeded, and the sectionalizer is in pickup condition, the sectionalizer
drops out. The sectionalizer function counts the number of the faults. If all of the Phases and neutral currents
turn to be less than 212 BkrClosed I MIN and the counter number of the faults is equal to 9521 Open
Sec. Cnt. , a time 9527 Time to open is started. Once the Phases or neutral currents is greater than 212
BkrClosed I MIN, the time 9527 Time to open will be reset. If the time 9527 Time to open is
exceeded, the sectionalizer issues an open command to isolate the fault.
