NOTE

i
When the service interlocking function is activated, any already triggered switching operations are NOT
interrupted.
If you control the service interlocking function via the device control, the internal single-point indication
(tagging) 373.3001
used to activate/deactivate the service interlocking function via binary input or CFC. To check the service inter-
locking via the system interface, the internal single-point indication (tagging) 373.3002
is used.
The service interlocking can be set and reset via the following sources:
Optional operator panel or Web Monitor (operating menu or preconfigured function key)
Binary input
System interface
CFC
While service interlocking is active, switching commands are rejected.
Service interlocking can only be reset by the source by which it was set. If interlocking was set by several
sources, for example, via local operation and via the system interface, interlocking will only be reset when
both sources have requested the resetting. Setting and resetting of the service interlocking will be entered in
the operational log.
Setting and resetting via the operating menu:
You get to the service interlocking menu item as follows:
MAIN MENU -> Control -> Interlocking -> Set -> Serv.interlock.
After entering the password, you can select ON or OFF. After confirming the subsequent prompt, your setting
becomes active and the indication 2534
(tagging) 373.3001
Setting and resetting via a binary input:
After configuring the indication 2535
program, you can set and reset the service interlocking via this binary input. The current status is displayed via
the indication 2534
Setting and resetting via the system interface:
Use the internal single-point indication (tagging) 373.3002
service interlocking via the system interface. For example, via the station control level using IEC 61850. The
device then sends an acknowledgement to the requesting remote station.
Setting and resetting via CFC (sample function key operator panel or Web Monitor):
The indication 2535
A practical application is the service interlocking control with the help of a function key. As a first step you add
a new customer-specific internal single-point indication (tagging) to the configuration matrix in the DIGSI
operating program. This is configured, for example, to the function key 6 and to the target CFC. After config-
uring the indication 2535
logically.
When the function key is pressed, the newly added indication is incoming - when the button is released, it is
going. Therefore, this indication is not suitable for direct service interlocking control. In order to change the
service interlocking status with each keystroke, a buffer such as a flip-flop is therefore required. The following
figure shows a sample circuit. With each keystroke, the inverted actual state of the service interlocking is
transferred to the memory. Alternatively, you can use 2 binary inputs as separate ON/OFF buttons.
