Unpack and Inspect the Shipment

THIS EQUIPMENT CONTAINS PARTS AND ASSEMBLIES SENSITIVE TO
DAMAGE BY ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE (ESD). USE ESD
PRECAUTIONARY PROCEDURES WHEN HANDLING THE EQUIPMENT.
The SLM-5650A Satellite Modem, its optional Installation and Operation Manual (otherwise
available online at http://www.comtechefdata.com), and its power cord were packaged and
shipped in a reusable cardboard carton containing protective foam spacing (Figure 3-1).
