• These counters increase when the paper is output. On the other hand, the PM counter increases (to
measure the service life of each feed roller) when the paper is fed.
• Blank sheets (covers, chapter covers, slip sheets) are also counted.
• During duplex printing, a sheet printed on two sides and a sheet printed on one side are both counted
as 1.
