Description
This command is used to configure the name for the Switch.
Format
config snmp system_name {<sw_name>}
Parameters
<sw_name> - (Optional) Enter the system name with a maximum of 128 characters here.
Restrictions
Only Administrators and Operators can issue this command.
Example
To configure the Switch name for "DGS-1510 Switch":
DGS-1510-28XMP/ME:admin# config snmp system_name DGS-1510 Switch
Command: config snmp system_name DGS-1510 Switch
Success.
