Maintenance operations
With the valve in the rest position, slide a feeler gauge between closing rocker arm and shim to measure clearance.
Clearance must be within the specified limits:
Closing rocker arm
Intake:
(A)
Nominal
0-0.05 mm
In operation 0-0.20 mm
Exhaust:
(A)
Nominal
0-0.05 mm
In operation 0-0.20 mm
If the clearances measured are outside the specified limits, measure clearance and adjust as required (Sect. N 4.1,
