4.1.2 Precautions in Performing Work

Described below are precautions to be observed when disassembling and assembling
the printer for repair or maintenance. Understand the description thoroughly, and never
fail to observe the instructions.
4.1.2.1 Checking after assembly
Make certain that the COVER OPEN and LEVER LINK are jointed properly, and open
and close the COVER OPEN to confirm proper operation.

4.1.2.2 Prohibited matters
Removal of the frame components as shown below is prohibited since removal of any
of them can impair the alignment of the printer construction. If you have removed it or
loosened any screws securing such parts by mistake, be sure to reinstall the relevant
part on a steady digit horizontal surface.
Never remove these parts.
