IP Multicast Commands

clear ipmc fdb

clear ipmc fdb {group <ipaddress> {sender <ipaddress/netmask>}}

Resets the IP multicast forwarding database entry.

Syntax Description

ipaddress/netmask

Usage Guidelines

If no options are specified, all IP multicast forwarding database entries are cleared.

The following command resets the IP multicast forwarding database entry:

clear ipmc fdb group 10.0.0.1 sender 10.0.0.2/24

This command was first available in ExtremeWare 6.2.

Platform Availability

This command is available on all platforms.

Specifies a group IP address.

Specifies a sender IP address and netmask.
