Description
Configures the STP mode of operation for the specified port list.

Example
The following command configures STPD s1 with PVST+ packet formatting for port 1 on a stand-alone
switch:
config stpd s1 ports mode pvst-plus 1
The following command configures STPD s1 with PVST+ packet formatting for slot 2, port 1 on a
modular switch:
config stpd s1 ports mode pvst-plus 2:1

Specifies an STPD name on the switch.
Specifies IEEE 802.1d-compliant packet formatting. A physical port can only
be a member of one STPD running it dot1d mode.
Specifies 802.1d formatting and 802.1q tagging.
Specifies PVST+ packet formatting.
Specifies one or more ports or slots and ports. On a modular switch, can be a
list of slots and ports. On a stand-alone switch, can be one or more port
numbers. May be in the form 1, 2, 3-5, 2:5, 2:6-2:8.
