CHAPTER 8: PAPER EJECTION SECTION
The gap between the tip of the separator and the surface of the print drum should be adjusted to 1mm plus
or minus 0.5mm. Note that one graduation scale changes the gap by 1mm. Tighten the two screws after
the adjustment.
Print drum
Symptoms
(1) If the tip of the separator touches the print drum surface, it will scratch the surface of the master, causing
a black line in the center of the prints.
(2) If the gap is too wide, the separator does not lift the paper off the print drum and causes paper jam on the
print drum.
