Fabius Tiro backup power is provided by two series-connected 12 V
rechargeable batteries. These batteries remain on charge as long as the
machine is plugged into an active AC outlet. Should power to the main con-
troller PCB assembly fail while the machine is in operation, the batteries will
allow the machine to continue operating for a minimum of 45 minutes, pro-
vided the batteries are fully charged.
The batteries are located within the controller housing and are accessible by
opening the ventilator compartment. The 3.15A battery fuse is located on the
power entry panel at the back of the machine.
