Receiving IRL Files

To receive a file from the host computer and store it under a specified filename,
do one of the following:
Choose Receive from the IRL Desktop File menu.
Enter an IRL Receive File command from the host computer, or scan the bar
code label.
From the host computer, enter the command:
.% filename
where filename can be any character from A to Z, 0, or 1.
Or, scan the following label:
Receive File
*.%*
*.%*
The Receive dialog box is displayed. Enter the filename to be received.

Clearing IRL Files

To delete one or all of the IRL data files with default filenames
{IRL-0}.IRD and {IRL-A}.IRD to {IRL-Z}.IRD when the IRL Desktop is open, do
one of the following:
Choose Clear Data from the IRL Desktop File menu. A message stating the
data files will be deleted is displayed. Press e to delete the files.
Enter an IRL Clear File command from the host computer:
.$ filename
where filename can be any character from A to Z, or 0. If you do not include
a filename, all files are deleted.
