This chapter provides an alphabetical list of all the configuration commands
supported on the JANUS 2050.

Using Configuration Commands

A configuration command modifies JANUS 2050 operation. You can scan
configuration commands from a bar code label, execute them in an IRL
program, and enter them from the JANUS 2050 keypad to a user application,
or send them from a host computer to a user application.
Note: Configuration commands from the keypad and host computer can only be sent to
an application designed to accept the command syntax.
This chapter provides the following information on each configuration
parameter:
• Command description
• Default setting
• Command syntax and options
• Bar codes containing the configuration parameters
The commands appear alphabetically by command name. If you want to look
up a command by its syntax, refer to the "Configuration Command by Syntax"
table in Appendix A.
The following JANUS configuration commands have no effect on the JANUS
2050, and are not included in this manual.
