Preamble

Purpose:
Sets the preamble that precedes any data scanned by the JANUS 2050.
Common preambles include a data location number or an operator number.
Note: Preambles are not added to scanned data when running IRL programs.
Default:
Disabled
Syntax:
ADdata
Acceptable values for data are up to 25 ASCII characters. When no data is
included, the preamble is disabled. You must enclose the data within quotation
marks if the data is a reserved word, such as a configuration command.
Scan:
To disable the preamble, scan the following bar code:

To set the preamble to an ASCII character string:
