This appendix includes reference tables you can use when configuring
communications protocols and the key code lookup table on the reader. Appendix A
also contains a full ASCII chart and charts of Code 39 bar code labels that you can
scan with the JANUS 2050. A keypad chart showing how to enter all characters on the
alphanumeric keypad is also provided.

Entering ASCII Control Characters

You use ASCII control characters when setting the protocol parameters. You
can enter ASCII control characters into the JANUS 2050 using c key
combinations. The following table lists the c key combinations and the ASCII
character that is entered for that combination.
