Entering Escape Sequences

You use escape sequences when entering ASCII control characters for
preambles and postambles in the configuration application, or to edit a
configuration file. You can represent non-graphic characters and some ASCII
control characters using the backslash and a letter. This table lists escape
sequences you enter and the corresponding ASCII control characters.
