5.7 Change Password

The password function is used
to prevent unauthorized
personnel from changing
machine operation. Machine
operation can still be viewed
without knowing the
password, but the operator
must key in the password
before functions such as
editing profiles, or alarm setup
can be executed. Also the
password feature can be
disabled if the operator is not
concerned about security. The
password can only be changed
on the master display.
The 'Password Security Level'
option allows the operator to
set the access level for various
users and functions requiring
password access (see section
5.7.1 on page 93).
