Next, the operator is asked to
enter the date and time for the
profile to begin. The "LEFT"
and "RIGHT" arrow keys can
be used to move the cursor
from one field to the next, and
the numeric keys will modify a
field. If the date entered is later
than the current time, the
machine will go into standby
mode. If it is earlier than
current date (up to 50 days),
the machine will automatically
calculate the proper position in
the selected profile and
commence operation from that
point. In other words, the
starting date can be predated, dated, or postdated.
NOTE: It is essential that the entire network is set to the correct date and time.
If the profile start date is later
than the current time, the
machine will enter standby
mode. The operator is
prompted for standby
temperature, humidity and
damper settings. These settings
will remain in effect until the
profile begins. Use the "UP/
DOWN" arrow keys move the
cursor between fields.
Specified values can be
entered, or if the field is left
blank, the program's default
values will be entered. Valid
setpoints are 60.0 to 101ºF
(15.6 to 38.3ºC) for
temperature, and 30.0 to 90.0% RH for relative humidity. Wet bulb values are converted to RH and must
fall within the humidity range listed above. Press "ENTER" to move on to the next step, or "EXIT" to
abort and return to the machine selection screen. In standby mode the machine can run at a lower
temperature than normally allowed, making it possible to use the machine as an egg room. The damper
opening can be set anywhere from 0 to 100%.
