The 'Machine Status' screen shows incorrect
setpoints, and the actual values are zero or
completely incorrect values.
The display panel resets when configuring
network.
There is a 'High Humidity' alarm on an ACI
machine even though the display shows the actual
wet bulb humidity to be below the setpoint.
A spurious communication alarm occurs.
The Display Panel beeps repeatedly for no
apparent reason.
The humidification system does not turn on even
though humidity is reading less than the setpoint.
During Network Configuration, one or more
machines are missing from the system.

Problem
Solution
The Intelligent Sensor Module probably is not
connected to the machine. The machine needs to
be able to communicate to the ISM to determine
what kind of humidity sensor it has before the
proper setpoints and actual values can be
displayed.
Check for light entering network. The network
will not work properly if any connector is
exposed to light.
The machine always controls humidity in units of
percent relative humidity. It is possible that the
actual relative humidity is above the setpoint even
though the equivalent wet bulb humidity is below
the target. It is recommended that humidity is
displayed in units %RH to avoid this type of
confusion.
Do not reconfigure the network. If the alarm
indicates only one machine: check the power for
the specific machine, check all fiber-optic
connections, or check that the address settings are
correct on the PTA410 board (see Appendix C).
If the alarm indicates more than one machine,
ensure the fiber-optic hub is connected to the
power supply. It is also possible that light is
entering the fiber-optic cables or hubs – check all
fiber-optic connections.
This is more than likely caused by a voltage
problem within the panel. Measure the voltage at
the +5V terminal on the PTA411 board. The
reading should be as close to 5.0 Volts as
possible. Carefully adjust the potentiometer on
the power supply as necessary.
In some cases this may be caused by a low
temperature alarm. There may also be a conflict
with the pan filling feature. For example, if the
humidity pan is set to fill on day 10, and it is only
day 8 within the cycle, the system will not turn on
if the pan is empty.
Check the power and the fiber-optic connections
on the machines. Check the address settings on
the PTA410 board (if two machines have been
assigned the same address, neither will show up
on the system).
