The screen at right displays all
of the machines that are
currently configured on the
network. It also indicates the
current status of each machine.
The 'Status' field can have one
of three states: 'Active' means
the machine is online and is
being polled, 'Off' means the
machine is offline and its data
is not being updated, and
'Maint' indicates that a
machine controller is in
maintenance mode, but is still
online. A machine which is
offline flashes its green power
light and can be safely
powered off. After the machine is turned back on, it should be made active again. Select the machine
using the arrow keys, and press "ENTER" to change the machine's status. Note: A machine that is
offline can still be viewed in the 'Machine Status' screen, but its data is not updated. It will show the
data received just prior to the time the machine was taken offline.
A dialog box is displayed on
the screen requesting
confirmation before changing
the machine's status. Selecting
'Abort' or pressing the "EXIT"
key will return to the previous
screen without changing the
status. Selecting 'Change
Status' and pressing "ENTER"
will toggle the status from
'Off' to 'Active' or 'Maint'
and vice versa. After changing
the status, it may take a few
seconds before the screen is
updated to reflect the change.
