6.6.3 Select Printer

This function allows the
operator to select the type of
printer connected to the
display panel. If an incorrect
printer driver is selected, then
most likely random characters
are printed, especially if a
"PRINT SCREEN" function is
being performed.
A dialog box displays the
printer types supported by the
display panel. Virtually all
printers are either 'Epson' or
'IBM' compatible. Check the
printer manual to determine
which type your printer
supports. This may require that
some switches be set on the
printer. Use the "UP" and
"DOWN" arrow keys to make
the proper selection and press
"ENTER", or press "EXIT" to
leave the printer type
unchanged.
NOTE: The IBM driver may
be used for an Epson
compatible printer if desired. When using the "PRINT SCREEN" function this will produce a larger size
screen dump which will be printed sideways. With software version 1.20 and above, the 'HP Ink Jet'
also works with HP or compatible laser printers.
