Once the operator has selected
a machine, a dialog box
appears displaying the 20
profile slots available for use.
A slot labeled 'Valid' contains
a profile which was previously
entered; an 'Unused' slot does
not contain a profile. A profile
can be selected by moving the
cursor with the arrow keys to
select the desired profile, and
then pressing "ENTER". Both
'Valid' and 'Unused' profiles
can be selected for editing. An
'Unused' profile will present
an empty profile, and will
become valid once it has been
stored back to the machine.
NOTE: Profile 1 is hardcoded and cannot be changed. To modify this profile copy it into another slot
and then edit this new profile. With software version 1.20 and above, use the "CLEAR" key to erase the
currently selected profile. If this profile is active, it will not be erased.
The figure at right shows the
Edit Profile screen. If the
selected profile slot is being
used, the profile will be
retrieved from the machine and
displayed on the screen. If the
selected profile slot is unused,
the screen will be empty. A
setpoint can be changed by
moving the cursor to the desired
setpoint and typing in a new
number. Valid entry values are
0.0 to 49.99 for day, 70.0 to
l01°F (21.1 to 38.3 °C) for
temperature, and 30.0 to 90.0%
RH for relative humidity. Wet
bulb values are converted to RH
and must fall within the humidity range listed above. Pressing "EXIT" when the cursor is flashing will revert
to the previous value, pressing "ENTER" will input the new value. To enter a new setpoint, the cursor can be
moved one line past the end of the profile. Once a new value is entered on that line, all other fields on that line
will default to the same as the line above it, except for the 'Day' field, which will be the previous day value
plus 0.01. (NOTE: 0.01 days is equal to 14 minutes, 24 seconds; 0.1 days is equal to 2 hours, 24 minutes).
To insert a new line in the middle of a profile, move the cursor one line past the end, then type a 'Day'
value that will place the setpoint in the desired range. After pressing the "UP" or "DOWN" arrow key,
the screen is automatically updated with the new line appearing in the correct spot.
While editing a field (with a flashing cursor), the "CLEAR" key can be used to erase the last digit and
move the cursor to the left one character. When not editing a field, the "CLEAR" key deletes the line
where the solid cursor is currently located. The "SELECT" key can be used to move the cursor line to
the right hand column of setpoints and vice versa. With software version 1.20 and above, the "SELECT"
key activates 'JEAD' mode when the cursor is highlighting the 'Damper' column.
