The screen at right shows the
'Manual Configure' option,
which allows the operator to
add or delete a machine
without configuring all
machines on the network.
Highlight the desired option
and press "ENTER". The
'Add/Delete' and 'Unit Type'
fields are changed using the
"SELECT" key. To change the
'Room' and 'Unit' fields, type
in a new number.
A box is displayed on all
display panels while
configuration takes place,
which will last several minutes.
During this time ALL display
panels become inoperative. On
the master panel, a count down
timer indicates the progress of
the configuration.
NOTE: Do not abort
configuration by turning the
power off on the master
display as this will leave all
other display panels in an
invalid state. If this happens
turn the power off and on for
each display panel on the
network.
NOTE: If the master display resets during configuration (indicated by a short beep and the display
changing back to the main screen), then a fiber optic connector may be exposed to light. Correct the
problem before re-executing this function.
